Former Chief Operating Officer for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Paul Dickerson has rejoined Haynes and Boone, LLP's Houston office as a partner to head up the firm's newly formed Clean Tech Practice Group.
Dickerson told Law360 that he chose to rejoin Haynes and Boone when he transitioned back to the private sector because he believes the firm has a platform to “absolutely own the clean tech space in all respects internationally.”
He is confident that in 12 to 24 months, Haynes and Boone will be the “go-to firm for clean tech” because it has the proper mix of expertise, geographic diversity and billing rates to serve the clean tech sector.
Dickerson's ties to colleagues at the DOE are bound to remain strong, as Haynes and Boone boasts the department as a client.
