Emma Cano is an associate in the Business Litigation Practice Group of Haynes and Boone, LLP.  Her practice focuses on assisting clients in general civil matters involving business and commercial litigation in a number of areas, including partnership disputes, breach of contract matters, construction disputes, bond claims, insurance coverage disputes and other litigation matters.  Ms. Cano's experience also includes representing businesses in a wide range of general tort matters, including industrial fatalities, premises liability matters and the defense of employee personal injury claims against both "subscriber" and "non-subscriber" employers.

  • Representation of individual and corporate entities in complex partnership dispute involving allegations of breach of fiduciary duties, breach of contract, and misappropriation.
  • Frequent representation of employers in defending against gross negligence litigation arising from industrial fatalities in a wide variety of industries.
