Government Civil Investigations

Our antitrust and competition attorneys have extensive experience in representing clients in a wide variety of government civil investigations. We have recently represented firms in investigations of allegedly monopolistic and predatory behavior, participants in joint ventures or other collaborative ventures alleged to have engaged in improper conduct, and members of standard setting organizations accused of harming competition through collective action.

Our practice group is uniquely qualified to address these issues because of our past experience, which includes numerous attorneys who held significant management level positions at the federal antitrust enforcement agencies. We appear before the Antitrust Division and Federal Trade Commission on behalf of our clients on a regular basis. We also have a national and international complex civil litigation practice which includes an active docket of cases in federal and state courts.

Recent representations have involved diverse industries such as media and entertainment, telecommunications, technology and e-commerce, energy and investment funds.
