As an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group, Dr. Tanya Faisal's primary focus includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a variety of technical fields, with an emphasis on medical devices. ReDr. Faisal's practice has also included representation of ANDA applicants in Hatch-Waxman pharmaceutical litigation related.

Prior to joining Haynes and Boone, Tanya worked as a physician specializing in pathology. This experience in the medical field has helped her to understand her client's particular industry and related challenges they may encounter. Tanya's areas of experience extend to surgical pathology, including histology, cytology, and forensic pathology, and clinical pathology, including hematopathology, microbiology, clinical chemistry, and immunohistochemical, electron microscopic, and molecular diagnostic analyses.
