Mr. Wilshusen has over twenty years of experience in assisting developers and other clients with the acquisition, disposition, development, leasing and financing of retail, office, industrial and multi-family projects throughout the United States. He has spoken at seminars sponsored by the State Bar of Texas, the University of Texas, the University of Houston and Professional Education Systems. He has also conducted seminars for clients of Haynes and Boone about subjects such as contracts of sale, construction contracts, leases and limited partnership agreements.
Mr. Wilshusen's work has included:
- Representation of national shopping center developers in the development of major shopping centers in Texas and other parts of the United States.
- Representation of apartment developers in the acquisition, construction, financing and sale of multi-family projects.
- Representation of a national retailer in its expansion into over 20 national malls and shopping centers.
- Representation of a national restaurant group in the development of over 30 restaurants throughout the country.
- Representation of a publicly traded REIT in connection with the acquisition, development, leasing and sale of its grocery store anchored shopping centers.
