LATERAL ATTORNEY OPENINGS

Lateral Hiring. Haynes and Boone periodically has openings for experienced lawyers in different specialty practice groups and offices. We evaluate each lateral prospect's qualities (including experience, maturity, intelligence, interests, inter-personal skills, communication skills and motivation) in making our hiring decisions. Generally, we hire only those lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional strengths by being ranked in the upper tier of their undergraduate and law school classes, and being active in their schools, communities and other civic organizations. We also take into account their experience in their practice areas. Our lawyers come from very diverse backgrounds.
