Rick Martin has more than 30 years experience assisting a broad range of clients involved in complex real estate transactions. He has represented pension systems, pension advisors, developers, REITS, private funds, and individual investors in office, industrial, hospitality and multi-family acquisitions and dispositions, and multi-family, industrial, office and lot developers. Recently Rick has had a particular focus on restructuring of indebtedness, modification and restructuring of investment ventures and acquisition of distressed indebtedness. Counsel to Parmenter Realty Partners in connection with the acquisition of VHA Place Tower, a 236,000 square-foot office building located in Las Colinas (Irving), Texas and in the formation of Venture and Loan from American National Insurance Company.
Acquisition of Commercial Bank Building in Houston, Texas
Represented a state sovereign fund in the acquisition of the River Oaks Bank Building in Houston, Texas.
Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel in Lease And Asset Disposition
Represented Kennedy Associates Real Estate Counsel, LLP, in the disposition of numerous office and industrial properties totaling more than $300 million in Texas and North Carolina.
