Anya Cooper is an associate in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the Dallas office of Haynes and Boone, LLP. Anya's practice has included advising sponsors of private investment funds at every stage of their funds' life cycles, from formation of the funds to fundraising and deals acquiring and selling portfolio companies.
Anya has experience with formation and management of private investment funds in onshore and offshore jurisdictions. She has advised sponsors of private investment funds with a range of different strategies, including leveraged buyout, mezzanine debt, growth equity, emerging markets funds and hedge funds. Anya has worked with both SEC registered and unregistered established and emerging managers. Her practice has included advising such managers on regulatory matters, general corporate matters and day-to-day operations.
Anya's deal experience includes advising private equity fund sponsors in mergers, acquisitions and sales of private and public companies in a variety of industries. She also has experience with secondary sales of stakes in funds.

Ruby Tuesday Acquisition of Assets of Lime Fresh
Represented Ruby Tuesday, Inc. in its $24 million acquisition of assets of Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, Inc. and its affiliates. The asset purchase includes the brand's intellectual property rights and the assets of seven company owned restaurants, as well as royalties from five franchised restaurants.
