09/14/2010

DALLAS
– Haynes and Boone, LLP has been widely recognized by Texas Super Lawyers with 94 firm attorneys being singled out in more than 20 separate areas of practice.

In addition, Haynes and Boone attorneys were among the top point totals for the Texas Super Lawyers nomination, research and blue ribbon review process in several categories.

Dallas appellate Partner Nina Cortell compiled the second highest total in Texas overall, and the firm had four of the Top 50 Women – more than any other firm. Ms. Cortell was joined on that list by Houston employment and labor Partner Felicity Fowler, Houston appellate Partner Lynne Liberato and Fort Worth appellate Partner Karen Precella.

Other Haynes and Boone inclusions in the Tops of Texas lists were:

• Top 100 Texas – Charles A. Beckham Jr. and Ms. Liberato of Houston, George Bramblett and Ms. Cortell of Dallas, and Lamont Jefferson of San Antonio.
• Top 100 DFW – Robert D. Albergotti, Mr. Bramblett, Ms. Cortell, Barry F. McNeil and Robin Phelan, all of Dallas; and Ms. Precella of Fort Worth.
• Top 100 Houston – Mr. Beckham, Ms. Fowler and Ms. Liberato.
• Top 50 Central/West Texas – Jeff Civins of Austin and Mr. Jefferson.

The annual award, which has been highlighting Haynes and Boone’s Texas legal talent since its inception, is based on peer recognition and professional achievements. Of those nominated, only five percent of the total lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion.
