2010: FIDUCIARIES IN A BOX

Fiduciary relationships may be found in a variety of corporate, trust, partnership, and non-profit contexts. In today’s complex legal environment, one person may wear multiple fiduciary “hats,” with different duties owed to potentially conflicting constituencies. The consequences associated with these conflicting duties can be downright scary—one of those Things That Go Bump in the Night.

Drawing on the Haynes and Boone's history of expertise in corporate governance, trust and estate issues, and fiduciary litigation, “Fiduciaries in a Box” will provide a toolkit for avoiding fiduciary disputes—and navigating them if they arise—whether you are a corporate director or officer, trustee, beneficiary or counsel to individuals in those roles.
