Haynes and Boone Partner Albert Tan, Co-Head of Capital Commitment Financing Group, moderated a panel on subscription financing at the Eighth Annual PERE Asia Summit in Hong Kong. Subscription financing is an approximately $200 billion market. It is widely used by real estate funds in North America and Europe to facilitate investments and for operational purposes – and is now gaining entry in Asia. The speakers on the panel discussed what subscription financing is, how it is used and the benefits of this type of funding.
