Each year, Haynes and Boone, LLP plays a significant role in assisting the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Section of the State Bar of Texas in putting on its annual, award-winning Texas Environmental Superconference. With a circus theme, “The Greatest Superconference on Earth,” this year’s conference, the 31st, promises to be exactly that, with an outstanding lineup of prominent speakers. The conference will be held on Thursday and Friday, August 1-2, at the Four Seasons Hotel at 98 San Jacinto Boulevard, Austin, Texas 78701. The July 31st Wednesday evening program, “Walking a Tightrope,” will provide 2 hours of entertaining ethics credits, from 6 to 8 PM. Senior Counsel Jeff Civins is the Standing Chair of the Annual Texas Environmental Superconference and he will co-deliver this year’s opening remarks. Partner Mary Simmons Mendoza will moderate the Wednesday evening ethics program entitled “Walking a Tightrope” and Associate Andrew P. Van Osselaer will participate on the panel entitled “Ethics and the Environmental Lawyer.” Partner Adam H. Sencenbaugh will speak on a panel entitled “Administrative Challenges and Appeals.”
