Haynes and Boone Partner Judith Elkin will speak on "Till - 10 Years later" at the American Bankruptcy Institute 26th Annual Winter Leadership Conference in La Quinta, CA December 4-6, 2014. The U.S. Supreme Court decision in Till, et ux. v. SCS Credit Corp. determining the methodology for the appropriate interest rate for the cram down of a secured creditor in a Chapter 13 case was handed down in May 2004, making 2014 the 10-year anniversary of one of the most important bankruptcy decisions of all time. This panel will discuss the evolution of Till, how it has been applied in Chapter 11 cases and where we are today.
