Larry B. Pascal, Partner and head of the Americas Practice Group, Haynes and Boone, LLP
Larry B. Pascal, the chairman of the Americas Practice Group, has extensive experience advising multinational companies with their investments throughout Latin America, the Caribbean, and Spain. He has served as adjunct professor at Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law and University of Texas at Dallas - Graduate School of Business. He was recently appointed to chair a Texas Supreme Court task force on international law. Mr. Pascal was recognized in Chambers Latin America 2011 as one of the leading practitioners in the country for Latin American Mergers and Acquisitions, and by Latin Lawyer 250 in 2010.

Rene Fernandez, New Growth Fund
Rene Fernandez Gaytan is managing partner and co-founder of NewGrowth Fund, a private equity fund focused on SMEs in Mexico launched in 2010. He is chairman of the board of Punto Clave Holdings, a portfolio company and board member at AMEXCAP, the Mexican Private Equity Industry Association. Prior to NewGrowth Fund, Rene was a partner at McKinsey & Co from 1992 to 2000 and Bain & Co from 2005 to 2009; both based in Mexico City, serving clients worldwide. In between, he launched an internet based logistic startup and led the Latin America leadership consulting division of Heidrick & Struggles. Between 2002 and 2005, he was a board member at American Express Bank Mexico.

Antonio Franck, Partner, Haynes and Boone, LLP
Mr. Franck is actively engaged in the practice of corporate, banking and securities either in the representation of foreign commercial banks lending in Mexico, foreign and Mexican underwriters or representing private sector companies. He participates in the structuring and negotiation of national and international financial transactions, in mergers and acquisitions, corporate and financial restructurings, strategic associations and business in general. Mr. Franck has taught at the Universidad Iberoamericana, in Commercial Law and Legal Ethics, as well as at the Escuela Libre de Derecho.

Jorge Labastida, Partner, Haynes and Boone, LLP
Mr. Labastida focuses his practice on structured cross-border finance, project and real estate finance, including securitizations, multi-jurisdictional tax-advantaged structures and structured leasing. He also specializes in trustee and bondholder agent representation, and handles work relating to derivatives, treasury products, restructurings, workouts, M&A and private equity transactions.
