OSHA Update 2015

August 19, 2015
Haynes and Boone, LLP is pleased to present OSHA Update 2015 on Wednesday, August 19 in Houston, TX.

Worker safety and compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations are critical parts of day-to-day business for most companies. 2015 has been another busy year for those responsible for OSHA compliance and companies often struggle to interpret and implement new and updated OSHA regulations. Haynes and Boone has once again teamed up with OSHA to discuss trends in both OSHA compliance and enforcement. This interactive presentation will feature updates directly from OSHA, followed by counter-point perspectives from the head of the firm's OSHA and Workplace Disasters Practice Group. Join us for a discussion and overview of some of the agency's more recent regulatory changes and related compliance requirements.

Some of the key topics include:
  • The new January 1, 2015 changes to the 29 CFR 1904 reporting rules concerning amputations, inpatient hospitalizations, RRI investigations and related matters
  • The status of GHS hazard communication standard compliance for employers, manufacturers, importers and distributors
  • Focus areas for OSHA regarding PSM facilities and oil and gas companies in 2015
  • The Temporary Worker Initiative and trends in OSHA enforcement where a host employer relies on a staffing company to provide temporary workers
  • Other "hot" topics
