We are committed to serving the communities in which we are located. Toward that end, we annually dedicate substantial time and funds to pro bono work and community service. This commitment is integral to the Haynes and Boone culture. Richard Haynes was a strong and consistent advocate of community service in Dallas and received the Justinian Award for Public Service in recognition of his contributions to such organizations as the Dallas Art Museum and the Baylor Medical Center Foundation. Mike Boone was the 2008 recipient of the J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award, presented by Southern Methodist University’s Cary M. Maguire Center for Ethics and Responsibility to honor his civic activism, commitment to public service and generous charitable contributions. This heritage from our founding partners is reflected in the broad array of community organizations that benefit from involvement by members of our firm.
