Haynes and Boone Climbs in Culture, Diversity Rankings

Haynes and Boone, LLP again has been recognized by Vault in its annual Top 100 Law Firms survey, notching notable improvement in overall diversity and minority categories. Haynes and Boone remained among the Best 20 Law Firms to Work For and edged up seven spots in the Hours category. The firm, consistently highlighted for its ongoing commitment to diversity, improved its rankings in all three of the survey’s diversity categories.

Haynes and Boone, LLP has been named a finalist in the Dallas Business Journal’s annual Best Places to Work competition. The firm received the required favorable employee survey score of 85 percent or higher for companies with 500 or more employees.

Haynes and Boone Earns Top Marks in 2009 Corporate Equality Index

Haynes and Boone has earned the top rating of 100 percent in the 2009 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), an annual survey administered by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. Haynes and Boone joins 259 other major U.S. businesses that received top marks for their treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) employees and consumers. “Striving for equality for all employees is an ongoing initiative at Haynes and Boone,” said Felicity Fowler, a partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group and chair of the Haynes and Boone Diversity Committee. “The firm is committed to diversity and to continuing efforts aimed at embracing and valuing all of our employees.” >>
