Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers collected 19 group and 55 individual rankings within the respected annual law firm directoryChambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2012.

The firm's Bankruptcy, Corporate/M&A, Franchise and Intellectual Property practices were all nationally ranked this year.

Within the national Franchise ranking, attorneys Jan Gilbert and Robert Lauer, made their debuts. The group as a whole was recognized for its “significant depth of experience in product distribution.” Partner Joyce Mazero was highlighted for her experience in advising on strategic development and expansion agreements, while Partner Deborah S. Coldwell was noted for her defense work for Curves International.

Within the firm’s national ranking for the Bankruptcy/Restructuring practice, three partners, Robert AlbergottiCharles Beckham Jr. and Robin Phelan, were individually recognized for the first time for their expertise. The Intellectual Property and Corporate/M&A practices, meanwhile, maintained their strong national rankings.

Also, the Haynes and Boone Texas Construction Practice was ranked for the first time this year, and the New York Real Estate (Mainly Dirt) leasing practice was recognized for a second year, this time with the addition of Noah Shapiro, who is noted as an “Up and Coming” lawyer in 2012.

Comprehensive Chambers USA 2012 results indicate where the practices and individuals rank compared to peer law firms. Haynes and Boone’s collective results mark a rise in the rankings for 17 attorneys (including 12 newly ranked) and one practice group, while the Real Estate practice group, in the construction category, made its debut on the listing. Additionally, 38 attorneys and 16 practice groups maintained their rankings.
