Andrew Weissman in Gas Business Briefing: Market Conditions to Cap Gas Prices at Around $4: Weissman
The new rules of the game in the natural gas market will provide protection against price spikes like those seen in the last decade, Haynes and Boone Energy Adviser Andy Weissman said Thursday.
Going forward, the gas price ceiling will likely be about $4/MMBtu, with prices "frequently dropping significantly lower," Weissman said during a webinar on the transformation of US energy markets, Gas Business Briefing learns.
He added that such market conditions might last "forever."
