New York Bankruptcy Group Secures Luxury Manhattan Condominium For Client in Delaware Chapter 11 Case
The Haynes and Boone, LLP New York bankruptcy group has successfully represented an affiliate of The Related Companies, which held approximately $234 million in claims in the Delaware bankruptcy cases of FKF Madison Group Owner, LLC et al.
A team of attorneys led by New York partners Lenard M. Parkins and Lawrence Mittman litigated many significant issues in the bankruptcy cases over a 10-month period before winning confirmation of the client's Chapter 11 plan April 10, and securing control and ownership of a luxury 60-story condominium building on Madison Park in Manhattan for the plan funder.
Related intends to complete the project and begin selling luxury condominium units later this year.
