ORANGE COUNTY/SILICON VALLEY – Five Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers from the Orange County and Silicon Valley offices were included in the 2012 Northern and Southern California Super Lawyers and Rising Stars award listings.
Silicon Valley Associate Jason Gonder debuted in the Northern California Rising Stars award listing for Intellectual Property Litigation, Business Litigation and Intellectual Property, while Partner Glenn E. Westreich was once again recognized in the Southern California Super Lawyers listing for Intellectual Property Litigation and Business Litigation.
The Southern California Super Lawyers award listing named Orange County Partner Kenneth G. Parker for Intellectual Property Litigation for the first time. Also honored as Super Lawyers were fellow Orange County partners Bart Greenberg for Business/Corporate, Mergers & Acquisitions and Closely Held Business, and Kimberley Chen Nobles for Intellectual Property, Intellectual Property Litigation and International practices.
Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The selection process is multi-phased and includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. Of those nominated, only 5 percent of lawyers in the state are selected for inclusion.
Rising Stars honors those who are either 40 years of age or younger or in practice for 10 years or less. Less than 2.5 percent in the state are named to the list.
