Leadership Arts Institute Accepts Haynes and Boone’s Lisa Congleton
DALLAS – Associate Lisa Congleton of the Haynes and Boone, LLP Intellectual Property Practice has been accepted into the North Texas Business Council for the Arts (NTBCA) Leadership Arts Institute (LAI). She begins in Sept.
Founded in 1989, LAI was specifically designed to develop the next generation of business and arts leaders, and to encourage passion for the arts in North Texas.
Each year, a limited number of business professionals are selected for LAI to focus on best practices in leadership for placement on an area board of directors. The program provides training and awareness through a series of quality classes, expert resource speakers and exposure to the needs and operations of all levels and sizes of arts organizations. An annual class project allows participants to interact with others from diverse backgrounds and industries.
At Haynes and Boone, Ms. Congleton concentrates on procuring, prosecuting and enforcing trademarks and copyrights for clients with domestic and international portfolios. She has represented plaintiffs and defendants in intellectual property disputes in federal court and before the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
