Brett Bostrom

Brett Bostrom merges his experience in a variety of technologies such as telecommunications, networking, optics, manufacturing, medical devices, and medical imaging with his legal experience to assist clients in acquiring and enforcing patents.

Brett’s practice focuses on preparing and prosecuting patents before the U.S. Patent Office for telecommunications and networking, nanoscale semiconductor sensors, medical devices, and medical imaging technologies. Brett’s practice also includes patent due diligence analysis to advise clients seeking to expand their businesses and launch new products and services. It is his priority to understand the details and subtleties of his clients’ technologies to create the strongest patent protection possible. During law school, Brett served as the editor-in-chief of his school’s intellectual property periodical, IP Theory, and was a student associate for the school’s pro bono intellectual property clinic.

Prior to his legal career with Haynes and Boone, Brett was an industrial engineer for a global automotive safety company, and an R&D intern for a rocket propulsion company.
