Zach Burnett joined Haynes and Boone in 2014 after graduating from the SMU Dedman School of Law. His private equity practice focuses on advising investment funds, investment advisors, and commodity pool operators and traders with regards to the formation, organization and operation of both hedge funds and private equity funds and their compliance with applicable federal and state laws.

Zach also advises his clients in a variety of additional corporate matters, including the structuring, negotiating, documenting and closing of public and private mergers, acquisitions and dispositions for both corporate and private equity clients, as well as the preparation of securities filings with the SEC.
