Susan Epley recently joined the Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice Group in the Houston office of Haynes and Boone, LLP.

Susan has more than 15 years of experience advising clients on compliance with the complex Internal Revenue Code and ERISA requirements relating to qualified defined benefit and defined contribution plans, health and welfare plans, and executive compensation arrangements. She has provided support for the correction of operational and plan document defects and advised clients on the tax implications of various qualified and non-qualified deferred compensation arrangements.

In addition, Susan has assisted many global organizations with the review of their non-U.S. benefit plan arrangements for compliance with FATCA. She has also advised organizations on the reporting and operational requirements of the employer mandate provisions of the Affordable Care Act. Susan possesses strong technical writing, project management, and interpersonal skills.
