Profile

Alex Larkin is an integral part of the Haynes and Boone litigation team in New York. Having honed her litigation skills early on at an internationally-recognized firm, Alex has represented some of the world’s largest businesses in a wide range of litigations pending before both the federal and state courts of New York.

Alex’s practice focuses on complex commercial, intellectual property, and employment litigation. Her prior experience includes defending a large national retailer against class action securities fraud claims; representing premier financial institutions in matters involving derivative financial instruments and claims of benchmark interest rate manipulation; assisting a foreign nation in litigation over its sovereign debt; and defending an international pharmaceutical corporation against claims arising under the False Claims Act. Alex is prepared to represent clients at all stages of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling through motion practice and trial.

Alex is a member of the New York Women’s Bar Association. She graduated summa cum laude, Order of the Coif, from Rutgers School of Law where she was a member of the Rutgers Law Review, the Rutgers National Mock Trial Team and co-chair of the Moot Court Board.
