Jennifer Littlefield is an associate in the Energy, Power and Natural Resources Practice Group in the Austin office of Haynes and Boone.

Jennifer has extensive experience in advising clients on electric power regulatory matters. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer handled a wide range of regulatory matters, including enforcement of state and federal rules governing the electric industry. She also developed litigation strategies and negotiated settlements as lead counsel in many regulatory disputes, and was lead counsel in contested cases involving electric power wholesale and retail regulations.

Jennifer’s responsibilities in the Enforcement Division of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) included overseeing the conduct of market participants within the State of Texas, including the Electric Reliability Council of Texas, Inc. (ERCOT) market. She advises clients on compliance with the Public Utility Regulatory Act, PUCT rules, North American Electric Reliability Corporation Standards, and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission policy matters. She has also acted as lead counsel in enforcement and alternative dispute resolution proceedings for the PUCT and ERCOT.
