Wolf McGavran tackles complex legal disputes while maintaining a steady focus his clients’ goals and objectives. Whether he is analyzing a potential lawsuit, navigating the complex litigation process, or taking a case to trial, Wolf takes a persistent and straightforward approach to address his clients’ problems.

Wolf regularly represents clients from a variety of industries on a broad array of disputes, including those for breach of contract, indemnity, misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of warranty, business torts, and environmental claims. For example, Wolf obtained the dismissal of a lawsuit involving an oil company’s overseas assets, secured the dismissal of a governmental entity on immunity grounds, advised a technology client regarding a high profile data breach at a major retailer, tried a case related to the disputed ownership of an aerospace company, and enforced the rights of secured creditors. In addition, Wolf obtained favorable settlements for clients in cases involving, among other things, ownership of a closely held manufacturing corporation, faulty oilfield products, theft of trade secrets to form a competing business, an online vehicle auction website, and ownership of disputed mineral interests in Texas, Oklahoma, and North Dakota. Wolf has been selected for inclusion in Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars, Thomson Reuters, business litigation, 2013-2018.

Wolf is active in the community with civic and business organizations including various bar associations, the United Way, the German American Chamber of Commerce, and the Texas Civil Rights Project, where he serves as a member of the Board of Counselors. Wolf also rides in the annual BP MS 150 bike ride benefitting multiple sclerosis research, advocacy, and support programs.
