Profile

Jeffrey Raley’s practice primarily involves estate planning for individuals with a focus on transfers of wealth to future generations while often implementing strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes, preserve wealth, and provide for business succession planning.  In the course of handling these types of representations, Jeff has represented a wide variety of clients, including entrepreneurs, closely-held business owners, professionals, and corporate executives, assisting them to reach their goals.

Jeff also represents fiduciaries, both individual and corporate, and beneficiaries in estate and trust administration proceedings.  Jeff has prepared and reviewed a significant number of estate tax and gift tax returns, provided advice regarding estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer taxes, and has participated in numerous examinations of estate and gift tax returns by the Internal Revenue Service.

Jeff is accustomed to working with other advisors in a team based approach that is designed to specifically meet a client’s needs.  Jeff is an active member of several estate planning organizations where Jeff interacts with a network of certified public accountants, financial advisors, wealth managers, and insurance agents, many of whom are engaged by his clients and are part of such teams.
