Louis M. Solomon is a partner in Haynes and Boone's New York Litigation Practice. He has extensive experience litigating complex business, commercial, securities and bankruptcy and business restructuring cases.

Louis represents clients in various complex commercial matters, including securities fraud cases, breach of contract actions, and partnership disputes. Louis has represented individuals and corporations in connection with government and internal investigations, and has litigated numerous fraud cases involving banks and brokerages. Louis's practice has also included real property actions involving senior and subordinated debt, and a variety of intellectual property matters. Louis also has extensive experience in arbitration and mediations before various tribunals, including the AAA, the ICC and the ICDR.

Louis is the co-author of the section on trademark infringement appearing in Business and Commercial Litigation in Federal Courts (West 2009). He was named in New York Super Lawyers, Thomson Reuters, for Business Litigation, 2012-2015. He has also lectured on developments in hedge fund oversight.
