May 31 Event to Focus on Business Strategies and Compliance in Regards to Immigration Law

RICHARDSON, Texas–Haynes and Boone, LLP, a full-service law firm, announced that it will present a complimentary seminar entitled “Business Immigration Law in the Global Environment” on Friday, May 31, 2002.  The seminar will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel at 900 E. Lookout Drive (southeast corner of I-75 and Lookout Drive) in Richardson. The seminar is free, with registration and continental breakfast beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the program beginning at 9:00 a.m., lunch will also be included.

Speakers will discuss immigration management strategies, the immigration changes that have occurred since September 11th, temporary visas, green cards and tax issues and tips for foreign national employees.

Presenters include Rodney Malpert, Senior Counsel at Texas Instruments Incorporated, and Luis Campos, Cindy Kang, Jacquelyn Prickett and Vicki Martin, Partners with Haynes and Boone. William Finegan, Partner in Haynes and Boone’s Labor and Employment Section will moderate the event.
