Haynes and Boone Elevates Six Houston Attorneys to Partnership Status

HOUSTON – Haynes and Boone LLP, an international corporate law firm, announced Friday it elevated six Houston-based associates to partnership status.

The newest partners in the Houston office are E. Scot Dixon, Doug H. Edwards, Kenneth M. Krock, Kent Rutter, Dulcie Green Wink and Kirk L. Worley.

“We’re very proud of the hard work and dedication shown by these attorneys,” said Robert Wilson, managing partner for Haynes and Boone. “We welcome them as partners.”

Dixon, a 1990 summa cum laude graduate of Rice University and 1993 graduate with high honors of the University of Texas School of Law, focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, tax and business and estate planning.

Edwards, a 1995 cum laude graduate of Tulane University School of Law, focuses his practice on commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
Krock, a 1993 graduate of Texas A&M University and 1996 cum laude graduate of the University of Houston Law Center, focuses his practice on business litigation, real estate disputes, securities and broker/dealer cases.

Rutter, a 1993 graduate of Duke University and 1996 cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, focuses his practice on appellate law.

Wink, a 1983 magna cum laude graduate of Texas A&M University and 1995 magna cum laude graduate from the South Texas College of Law – where she was named as Outstanding Female Graduate – focuses her practice on business litigation.

Worley, a 1993 graduate of Texas A&M University and 1996 magna cum laude graduate from the University of Houston Law Center, focuses his practice on business litigation, including energy, power and international litigation.
