DALLAS -- Haynes and Boone partner Larry B. Pascal recently spoke at the US-Mexico Law Institute in St. Augustine, Fla. on the cross-border legal services market, discussing recent reforms in Texas.

Mr. Pascal, the chair of his firm’s Americas Practice Group and based in Dallas, spoke on a panel with several eminent authorities on the subject, including a former chair of the American Bar Association International Law Section and a former president of the Mexican Bar Association.

As former chair of the International Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, Mr. Pascal led a successful campaign to adopt the ABA Model Foreign Legal consultant rule. He is currently working on a second phase to make Texas a more competitive international legal marketplace.
