Haynes and Boone Climbs in Culture, Diversity Rankings

Haynes and Boone, LLP again has been recognized by Vault in its annual Top 100 Law Firms survey, notching notable improvement in overall diversity and minority categories.

Haynes and Boone remained among the Best 20 Law Firms to Work For and edged up seven spots in the Hours category. The firm, consistently highlighted for its ongoing commitment to diversity, improved its rankings in all three of the survey’s diversity categories.

Haynes and Boone’s 2010 rankings are as follows:

  • No. 13, The Best 20 Law Firms to Work For 
  • No. 7, The Best 20 Law Firms for Hours 
  • No. 9, The Best 20 Law Firms for Overall Diversity 
  • No. 4, The Best 20 Law Firms for Women 
  • No. 5, The Best 20 Law Firms for Minorities

To compile the rankings, Vault surveyed more than 18,800 associates at nearly 200 major law firms across the country and asked them to rank firms in terms of how prestigious it would be to work for them. Quality of life rankings, including the diversity categories, were rated based on associates opinions of their own firms on issues such as treatment by partners, formal training, informal training and mentoring, hours and compensation.
