Haynes and Boone Sponsors Women In IP Event

08/13/2009

Haynes and Boone, LLP announces it is sponsoring the first-ever DFW Women In IP full-member event. The program, hosted and co-sponsored by Klemchuk Kubasta LLP, brings together a powerhouse of local women intellectual property attorneys for an evening of networking.

“With its access to national and international companies, Dallas-Fort Worth has an incredible community of talented and experienced women intellectual property lawyers,” said Haynes and Boone partner Wei Wei Jeang, a co-founder of DFW Women In IP. “The group is an excellent forum for exchanging ideas and building relationships that benefit our members personally and professionally.”

Added Klemchuk Kubasta co-founder Kelly Kubasta: “We are excited to host this event and look forward to serving an ongoing and active role in the group.”

DFW Women In IP is an informal group of about 80 attorneys who regularly attend monthly luncheons in smaller groups of 5-10 attorneys. Ms. Jeang founded the group with Shannon Bates of Conley Rose and Genie Hansen of Hemingway & Hansen as a means for women in IP to network in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Additional information about Women In IP can be found at www.WomenInIP.org.
