U.S. News “Best Law Firms” Survey Highlights Haynes and Boone

DALLAS – Haynes and Boone, LLP has been recognized in the third edition of the U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” survey.

The 2013 law firm survey recognized the firm in its national and metropolitan rankings for the Austin, Dallas, Houston, New York City, San Antonio and Washington, D.C. offices.

Haynes and Boone maintained its seven National Tier 1 rankings for Bankruptcy and Creditor Debtor Rights / Insolvency and Reorganization Law, Corporate Law, Franchise Law, Litigation – Bankruptcy, Litigation - Labor & Employment, Project Finance Law and Technology Law.

National Tier 2 rankings were given for the following: Antitrust Law, Banking and Finance Law, Commercial Litigation, Insurance Law, International Trade and Finance Law, Litigation - Intellectual Property, Litigation - Real Estate, Litigation - Regulatory Enforcement (SEC, Telecom, Energy), Oil & Gas Law, Real Estate Law, Securities / Capital Markets Law, Securities Regulation, Sports Law, Trademark Law and Venture Capital Law.

National Tier 3 honors were awarded to the Appellate Practice, Construction Law, Employee Benefits (ERISA) Law, Environmental Law, Labor Law – Management, Litigation – Antitrust, Litigation – Environmental, Litigation – ERISA, Litigation - First Amendment, Litigation – Securities, Natural Resources Law, Tax Law and Trusts & Estates.

These rankings, which are presented in tiers, showcase 10,324 different law firms ranked nationally in one or more of 80 major legal practice areas and in metropolitan or state rankings in one or more of 118 major legal practice areas. Rankings are based on a combination of client feedback, peer reviews and firm information provided in the survey.

The national first-tier rankings will be featured in U.S. News and World Report’s ‘Money’ issue on newsstands in November.
