Madelyn Calabrese Chosen for Leadership Counsel on Legal Diversity Fellows Program

02/07/2014

NEW YORK – Haynes and Boone, LLP Partner Madelyn Calabrese has been selected as a member of the 2014-2015 Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) Fellows Program, a year-long leadership training course designed to elevate the career trajectories of high-potential lawyers from LCLD member organizations.

“We are proud to have Madelyn represent the firm in the program,” said Terry Conner, managing partner. “She is a well-respected legal practitioner both inside and outside the firm and demonstrates the traits of a strong LCLD fellow.”

The program is designed to connect fellows with general counsels and managing partners from preeminent organizations for a year-long professional development program that focuses on relationship-building and leadership skills. Employing a wide range of training methods, the unique value of the program is that it offers fellows an opportunity to network and learn from top leaders in the legal field.

Programs include in-person training on the topics of relationship building, team development and personal leadership, as well as a personal journey series, corporate visits and individual coaching.

“I’m honored to be selected as a LCLD fellow,” said Calabrese. “The program offers a hands-on opportunity to expand my knowledge and leadership skills. I hope to leverage this experience to help clients meet their business goals.”

At Haynes and Boone, Calabrese is a member of the Investment Funds and Private Equity Practice Group, where she provides advice primarily to broker-dealers and registered and unregistered investment advisers on a broad range of registration, regulatory, compliance and inspection/enforcement matters.

LCLD fellows are leaders who have distinguished themselves within their corporation or law firm and have a career history that reflects strong performance and leadership skills.
