Haynes and Boone Maintains Strong Presence in Chambers Latin America, Two New Categories

Haynes and Boone, LLP and its Mexican affiliate, Haynes and Boone, SC have once again been recognized in the Chambers Latin America legal directory for leading work in eight Latin America and Mexico business law categories.

In the 2016 edition of the widely respected publication, the firm is again recognized in the categories of (a) Latin America-wide corporate / M&A and (b) energy and natural resources, while the Chambers Mexico-wide ranking included Haynes and Boone for banking and finance, corporate/M&A, energy and natural resources, projects and real estate.

In addition, the guide singled out eight of the firm’s lawyers for individual acknowledgement, including two new categories, tax and environment. Firm lawyers repeated recognition in the following practice areas: banking and finance, capital markets, corporate / M&A, energy and natural resources, projects, and real estate.

Individually, Mexico City Partner Ariel Ramos repeated his Band 1 ranking in both projects and energy and natural resources. Ramos is noted for his, “deep experience in the sector, particularly oil and gas, with strength in project development and finance matters.” He was further complimented as, “one of the most renowned energy lawyers in Mexico.”
