Haynes and Boone, LLP proudly welcomes seasoned patent lawyer Kenyon Jenckes, who adds his 20 years of experience in corporate and law firm environments to the growing capabilities of the firm’s Orange County office.
Jenckes was previously with Qualcomm Inc., where he spent more than 10 years as a senior patent counsel supervising as well as preparing and prosecuting patent applications over a wide range of technologies and managing portfolios nationally and internationally. Prior to that, he practiced law for more than eight years in the California law firm environment.
“Kenyon made his mark in private business by deftly managing large patent portfolios with a focus on tailoring patent strategy globally based on business value,” said Greg Michelson, the firm’s Orange County administrative partner. “As we continue to grow our IP capabilities, Kenyon’s background will benefit a broad swath of our clients in need of strategic advice on complex patent matters. Jenckes has amassed broad technical experience handling patents involving WCDMA, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth ASIC, circuit design, semiconductor processing, and system on chip architectures. He has also worked with RF circuits, antennas, MIMO, and other multi-antenna arrays, computer software and business methods, and medical devices.
In November 2014, Haynes and Boone’s Orange County office outgrew its office space and relocated to Plaza Tower in Costa Mesa, demonstrating the firm’s continued growth and demand for services in California and around the world.
