For the second consecutive year, Haynes and Boone, LLP lawyers have won two major Turnaround Atlas Awards from the Global M&A Network for their parts in world-class business restructurings. This year, the wins came for Middle Market Cross Border Distressed M&A Deal of the Year and for the Energy & Services Restructuring of the Year.

“We are once again gratified to receive these awards in recognition of the high profile roles our lawyers play in key bankruptcy and business reorganization matters across the country," said Ian Peck, head of the firm's Bankruptcy and Restructuring Section. "Every day, our clients expect us to help them navigate very complex reorganizations across a wide range of industries, so this is a testament to our lawyers' hard work and deep knowledge of client business needs."

Winners should take pride for effectuating successful restructurings by demonstrating their creativity, patience and professional talents."

The firm won Middle Market Cross Border Distressed M&A Deal of the Year for its role in the Cal Dive International reorganization and sale of assets including to Everest Hill Energy. Haynes and Boone served as legal adviser to Everest Hill.
