Albers received a 2016 Texas Most Powerful Business Women award and Fowler was a recipient of the Houston Top 15 Business Women award.

Selection was based on each individual’s contributions to business growth and strategic direction, proven record of accomplishments in their area of expertise, and their ability to serve as an effective role model who inspires other women and is active in mentoring the next generation of female professionals. Each awardee stands atop their field in several industries such as health care, law, technology, retail and oil & gas.

“The 2016 Most Powerful Businesswomen award gives well-deserved recognition to the women who have exhibited a proven record of success in their field,” said Dennis Kennedy, founder and chairman of the National Diversity Council. “Our organization takes great pride in honoring this distinguished group of accomplished women who are helping lead their businesses to greater heights.”

She also spent four months as acting trademark counsel for a leading global Internet retailer.
