Haynes and Boone, LLP is marking its one-year anniversary in Denver, and has grown to 14 lawyers providing a broad range of legal services.
What began in early 2015 with the recruitment of two longtime Denver lawyers has now blossomed into a broadly diversified 14-attorney office at 1801 Broadway that employs more than 20 dedicated professionals and staff that remain closely linked to the firm’s 13 other offices and will serve as the base for further expansion in the Rocky Mountain West.
“We could not be more pleased with our expanding Denver capabilities,” said Denver Administrative Partner Patrick L. Hughes, a veteran bankruptcy and business restructuring lawyer from the firm’s Houston office who with Robert Thibault, another longtime Denver attorney with presence in both Houston and Denver, provide a strong integrating dynamic with the firm’s other offices. “In the space of a year we have grown our office to provide a wide range of legal services that help our client needs in energy and natural resources as well as environmental, financial restructuring, corporate, securities and intellectual property law. These services fit in extremely well with the core Haynes and Boone practices in our other offices. Since opening in January 2015 with Denver securities and corporate lawyer Alan L. Talesnick and two other Denver attorneys, the office has added Robert Ziemian, a seasoned intellectual property lawyer with deep experience obtaining, enforcing and advising on patents and trademarks on a global basis, and Scott Baker, who helps clients litigate and resolve complex commercial and civil disputes. In June, the firm further expanded its already considerable energy, natural resources and environmental litigation and transactional capabilities with the addition of longtime Denver lawyer John D. Fognani and his colleague Mike Hegarty.
Most recently, the firm was pleased to announce the addition of Partner Keith Sambur, an accomplished corporate lawyer who focuses on corporate transactional matters and who also has experience in financial restructuring matters for institutional clients.
