Haynes and Boone Assists Brookfield Properties in Largest Manhattan Lease Transaction of 2010

NEW YORK – In the biggest Manhattan lease negotiated to completion so far in 2010, Haynes and Boone, LLP advised Brookfield Properties Corporation in negotiations with Société Générale, which will move its U.S. headquarters into 444,000 sq. ft. in Brookfield’s 245 Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. New York Partner Stuart Mass and Of Counsel Russ Rabinovich led the Haynes and Boone team.

Mr. Mass, who recently joined Haynes and Boone as part of the firm’s long-term New York expansion strategy, devotes his practice to commercial real estate leasing transactions. He is routinely involved in several of the largest New York City leasing transactions each year, representing major landlords, such as Brookfield and SL Green, and premier tenants such as Cushman & Wakefield and Bertelsmann.
