Kimberly Chase Named 2016 Southern California Rising Star By Thomson Reuters

June 14, 2016

Haynes and Boone, LLP Associate Kimberly Chase has again been featured in the 2016 Southern California Rising Stars listing published by Thomson Reuters.

Named consecutively since 2013, Chase was highlighted in the employee litigation practice area. She is praised by her clients and colleagues for her exceptional advocacy, work product, professionalism and community commitment.

At the firm, Chase maintains a diversified practice that includes employment litigation and advice, copyright and trademark litigation, and commercial litigation. She has obtained favorable results for a number of Fortune 500 companies in discrimination and harassment cases, wrongful termination cases and wage and hour litigation.

When not serving her clients, Chase is dedicated to improving the legal profession and helping her community. She serves on the Alumni Association Board of Directors for the UC Davis School of Law. She also served as the 2014-2015 co-chair of the Orange County Coalition for Diversity in the Law, which is a group of law firms and community partners who have joined forces to achieve cultural diversity in the legal community. Chase is dedicated to her pro bono work and is also a member and the former co-chair of PLC Advocates, a group that assists Orange County’s pro bono legal services provider, the Public Law Center, in increasing pro bono volunteerism.

Compiled through peer nominations and research, only two percent of young attorneys receive the Rising Stars distinction. Selected attorneys are 40 or younger or have been in practice for fewer than 10 years.
