Managing IP Selects Haynes and Boone as Top Trademark Prosecution Firm in 2019

April 29, 2019

Managing IP, which covers intellectual property news and developments worldwide, selected Haynes and Boone, LLP as the leading Trademark Prosecution firm in the southern U.S. in 2019.

Partner David Bell, chair of Haynes and Boone’s Trademark Practice Group, accepted the honor at the Americas IP Awards earlier this month at the Essex House in New York City.

“I couldn’t be prouder to work with this team of excellent lawyers. We love what we do and are flattered by this industry recognition,” he said.

Bell was joined at the award ceremony by Partner Rich Rochford, chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice, Partner Jonathan Pressment and Associates Tiffany Ferris and Joseph Lawlor.

The Americas IP awards are based on information gathered through interviews and surveys of IP firms, IP practitioners, and clients. The research team also reviews court filings and other public data.

The Trademark team at Haynes and Boone successfully protects and enforces some of the world’s most famous trademarks. The 2019 edition of World Trademark Review 1000 (WTR 1000) ranked the firm as a top-20 firm nationally and the top full-service firm in Texas, describing it as “a go to for marquee brand owners in need of sophisticated 360-degree advice on brands.”

The 2019 WTR 1000 also recognized nine Haynes and Boone lawyers, across six of the firm’s offices, as leading practitioners. It was the ninth consecutive year for the firm to place among the U.S. leaders in the directory, which is published by Globe Business Media Group and identifies the leading players in 70 key jurisdictions globally.
