One Good IDEA Reaches Thousands of Students Across Houston

For nearly twenty years, doctors and lawyers across Houston have been teaming up twice a year through the Interprofessional Drug Edcuation Alliance (IDEA) Program to teach fifth grade students about the medical and legal consequences of drug use. The program began in 1992 as a collaborative effort between the Houston Bar Association and the Harris County Medical Society, and has reached over 45,000 studentes since its inception.
