Romco involved a claim by a construction equipment rental company for allegedly defective heavy earth moving trucks used in mining and construction. After more than 40 months of discovery by plaintiffs? counsel spanning two continents, we successfully obtained summary judgment from the U.S. District Court in Corpus Christi for our client, the Volvo Construction Equipment Dealer who sold the trucks to plaintiffs. Plaintiffs chose to not appeal our dismissal and later settled with the manufacturer, Volvo Construction equipment Co. of North America.
