Represented TGI Friday’s in litigation against a franchisee and its guarantors in California federal court. After filing a Complaint for trademark infringement, unfair competition and breach of contract, Fridays sought and received a preliminary and permanent injunction against defendants Stripes Restaurants, Inc. John Pardini and Robert Pardini. Fridays had terminated the franchise agreements for four (4) Fridays’ restaurants located in Cupertino, Elk Grove, San Mateo and Roseville, California, based on non-payment of royalties and other fees. The parties ultimately resolved the matter and the Court entered a final judgment and permanent injunction.
