Lacy Lawrence is an associate in the Litigation/Trial Practice Section of Haynes and Boone’s Dallas office. She has experience representing clients and examining witnesses in state and federal courts involving a wide variety of commercial claims including claims of fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, and others. She also has experience examining witnesses and prosecuting and defending a wide variety of contested matters and adversary proceedings in Bankruptcy Court.
- Multi-Billion Dollar Contested Bankruptcy Plan Confirmation Hearing
Teamed with bankruptcy counsel in an extended contested confirmation hearing to successfully obtain the Bankruptcy Court’s recommendation that our client’s plan of reorganization be confirmed over the other competing plan.
- Defendant’s Judgment Regarding Mineral Rights Dispute
Obtained a final judgment dismissing Plaintiff’s claims for reformation of a deed and declaratory judgment and awarding full amount of attorneys’ fees and expenses incurred in defending against those claims.

Obtained favorable multi-million dollar settlement for corporate plaintiff in fraud case.
- Defendant’s Victory on Fraud Claims
Tried fraud claims in federal court and obtained complete defense victory.

Successfully prosecuted a motion to dismiss in federal court and obtained the dismissal of all claims.
