Adding Russ Rabinovich Continues Expansion of Haynes and Boone’s New York Real Estate Practice
NEW YORK – Haynes and Boone, LLP has added Russ Rabinovich as Of Counsel in the firm’s real estate practice group in New York.
Mr. Rabinovich was formerly with Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP in New York.
“Haynes and Boone has one of the largest and most experienced real estate practices in the nation,” said Steve Waters, partner and head of the firm’s real estate practice group. “Our ability to attract top talent like Russ speaks to our volume of work and quality of clients. Russ is a natural fit with our existing team and will hit the ground running.”
Mr. Rabinovich concentrates his practice in office and retail leasing, representing landlords and tenants in complex commercial leasing transactions, in New York and nationally. He has significant experience negotiating leases, subleases, management agreements, brokerage agreements and other leasing-related transactions. He has also recently represented the owners and developers of some of the most prestigious hotels in New York City in connection with restaurant leases and other food and beverage related agreements.
Mr. Rabinovich is another in a string of high-profile additions to the firm’s expanding, New York-based real estate leasing practice. In June, Haynes and Boone attracted three former Paul Hastings leasing lawyers -- Stuart Mass (Partner), Noah Shapiro (Of Counsel) and Siobhan Green (Associate) -- as part of the firm’s recent commitment to growing its capabilities in real estate, real estate finance, and real estate restructuring and bankruptcy. The team is routinely involved in several of the largest New York City leasing transactions each year, representing major landlords and premier tenants. Mr. Rabinovich will provide the group with even more firepower.
Haynes and Boone’s New York office has seen additional expansion across the board, including six prominent partners focusing on real estate finance and real estate restructurings, as well as lawyers focusing on bankruptcy, finance and litigation. The collective experience complements Haynes and Boone’s existing capabilities, helping to establish a comprehensive legal resource for firm clients, particularly top-tier real estate companies, financial institutions, real estate funds, and private equity groups.
Haynes and Boone, LLP is an international corporate law firm with offices in Texas, New York, California, Washington, D.C., Mexico City and Moscow, providing a full spectrum of legal services.
